The Bluebird Base sits at 1200 meters above sea level in the Ziller valley, tirol. 1 hour from Innsbruck and approx. 2 h from munic. Enjoy panoramic views from the sunny terrace with a beer in hand year round! The Bluebird Base is the home from Amadeus, he looks forward to welcoming you home with open arms.
A 5 minute drive with the free ski bus away from the ski resort, Zillertal Arena, its location allows experienced skiers to ski back right to the doorstep after a day in the mountains. Start your hike right from the front doorstep or stop by the Zillertal Arena to try your hand at mountain biking.

In Austria driving on the A12 use the exit (ausfahrt) 39 Zillertal / Achensee. Follow the Zillertal Bundestrasse (mainstreet) B169 all the way to Zell am Ziller and use the exit towards Gerlos.
In Zell you must TURN LEFT towards Gerlosberg. Use the Signs towards Gerlosberg and Enzianhof (tasty schnapps there FYI) You will follow this road for about 5 kms where you will pass Adamerhof (not lost don't worry) continue following the same street for a bit more and you will eventually turn right up a steep road towards 'Keurzwiesenalm'. 30 meters (yards) of this steep road and turn right down into a steeeeep driveway towards the Freeride base. Welcome to the Bluebird Base, Welcome home!
